Halloween Skull Coaster DIY ~ Craft Klatch

Learn how to make this spooky skull coaster!

Here is the DIY video tutorial.  It's quick!

You will need: Coaster mold:
Yellow glitter:
Wood laser cut skull:  check out craft stores

1.  Find a wood laser cut skull.  Check your craft stores and I think you will be surprised at the fun items you will find.  This one was already painted black.

2.  Mix one ounce of resin, according the package directions.

3.  Mix in some fine yellow glitter.

4.  Mix it really well.

5.  Pour it into the coaster mold.

6.  Once it has spread out, pop the bubbles with your lighter.  Let it cure a minimum of 12 hours.

7.  Take your wood skull and dip it into the resin.  You want it to be completely covered.

8.  Place it into your mold.

9.  Pop the bubbles with your lighter and let the resin cure until you are sure the wood skull won't float when you add more resin.  Figure a couple of hours at a minimum.

10.  Add more resin.  An ounce should do it.

11.  Pop the bubbles with your lighter and let it cure a minimum of 12 hours.

12.  Remove it from the mold and now you have a striking coaster that sets the scene for Halloween!

That's it!  Thanks for stopping by!  Remember:  Life's too short not to shimmer, so grab your glue gun and your glitter!™  Stay safe!
