DIY Scrapbook Paper Christmas Trees ~ Christmas Crafts

Scrapbook paper comes in so many beautiful patterns.  Create some pretty trees to enhance your Christmas decor!

Here's a quick video to show you exactly how I made them:

You will need:
Wood trees:  I found them at Michaels
Scrapbook paper:  Christmas scrapbook paper:  http://amzn.to/2hysqk4
Gray paint:  http://amzn.to/2zunnrS
Stick glue:  http://amzn.to/2zFQZHh
Wood slices:  Also from Michaels
Hot glue:  http://amzn.to/2zqT4Cw
Red ribbon:  http://amzn.to/2zuoGag

Directions:

1.  I found these cute trees at Michaels and removed the eye screws.

2.  I painted the trees gray.

3.  I found some great plaid and Christmas scrapbook papers..

...and cut around the trees.

4.  I trimmed the stem part off.

5.  I used stick glue and put it all over the back of the cut outs...

...and put them onto the trees.  I made sure to rub the paper down really well.

6.  I tied three bows out of a thin red ribbon.

7.  I put hot glue on the base of the trees and stuck them to the wood slices.

8.  I hot glued the ribbons onto the trees.

Then, I had these cute trees!

That's it!  Thanks for stopping by and Happy Holidays!  Remember:  Life's too short not to shimmer, so grab your glue gun and your glitter!™  Stay safe!
