Learn how to make a textured resin coaster using eyeshadow!  It's another great resin craft!

Here's a quick video tutorial, so you can see exactly how I made it:

You will need:
Silicone mat:
Resin (use whatever resin brand you like):
This is the resin I used for this project:
FX Poxy: ~ According to the manufacturer, this one is heat resistant to 500 degrees F.
Easy Cast:
Art Resin:
Clear Cast:

1.  I found this silicone mat and it has a pretty design on it.

2.  I used an ink pad and rubbed it on the mat.

3.  I mixed my resin.  You only need about an ounce to and ounce and a half.

4.  I split it into three different cups and then used powdered eyeshadow to color it.

5.  I poured each color and partially overlapped each time.

6.  I used my lighter to pop the bubbles.

7.  After about 45 minutes, I folded the mat onto itself.  Folding it allowed it to have the texture on both sides.

8.  After 12 hours, I unfolded it.

9.  I peeled it off the mat.

10.  Here it is.  You can see how the stamp pad allowed the design to be more defined.

That's it!  Thanks for stopping by!

Remember:  Life's too short not to shimmer, so grab your glue gun and your glitter!™  Stay safe!
