Garbage to Gorgeous® Episode #21: Kitchen Table Refinish DIY | Craft Klatch

Today we are doing a farmhouse table makeover.  You can restore a damaged piece of furniture instead of replacing it!

Here is the table, which overall was not in bad condition, but the top needed some help.



Directions:

1.  I wrapped the table, so it was protected.

2.  I applied the stripper.

3.  After it sat long enough, I began to scrape it.


4.  Once it was scraped, I wiped it and washed it.

5.  I then stained the top.  Remember to always follow the directions on the stain you are using.


6.  If you need to sand between coats, be sure to follow the manufacturer's directions.

Here is it all finished.  Like it was never scratched and imperfect!
