  3. I couldn't find the egg shpaer/ring anywhere and I don't want to buy it online because they charge too much for the shipping. Is there any other way to make a round coaster. Please let me know asap.

  4. Mona - WOW! So many awesome craft ideas and tutorials here. I spent about 3 hours today (killing time at work) looking through your tutorials. I am so excited to try my hand at some of them. I had a question on the resin coasters. I make coasters out of ceramic tiles and have been wanting to make my little cousin a set for her tea parties but have been concerned if they fall, I don't want them to fall and break and pose a danger to her (she's only 4). I'm not as familiar with resin - do you think it would be a better option?

  5. Thanks Alexandra!! The resin turns into a hard plastic and should not break if it falls. No sharp edges either! You could put a lot of fun things in there for her too! Thanks for browsing!! Hope that helps! Mona

  6. Hello Mona! I had a quick question about printing the images on to transparency film. I'm not very good at explaining things so I'm sorry if I don't make sense. But when printing the image how do I just print the image I want and leave the background out? Do you crop out only what you need? And if so is it something I can do on Microsoft or paint? Thank you for your time! I love your coasters!

  9. Hi Mona, I'm a new fan and have been watching a ton of your videos lately. The ocean/mermaid/shell related items have really caught my attention. I'm not sure if I did something wrong while making the shell coaster(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yd4ZiyT46R0&t=205s), but my glass keeps sticking to the coaster. Is this normal or is there anything I can do to help this problem?

  11. How do you size your pictures for your coasters? Is there a video I missed that covered how to prepare the image for printing?

  13. I am trying to recreate your Sombrero Hat craft from the terra-cotta pots and bases but I am struggling to find the bases that you would use for the mini ones. Do you have a listing of where you bought them from? I am really trying to do this by this weekend, so if you could let me know, that would be AMAZING! Thank you!!

  14. Hello from Holland!

I am Mary and I love your video's! I get verry inspired by the!
    But, I have a question....
How do you keep your molds clean? They (almost) always look so nice and clean! I just started using resin and making things out of molds and I have great difficulty cleaning the molds!

Thank you for your clean and inspiring films!

    Greetings, Mary

    1. Hi Mary - Thank you! I usually just take a piece of packing tape and it pulls everything right up off the mold. Hope that helps!

  15. How about some ideas for coaster holders, something you can put four coasters in for gift-giving? Also, some uses for coasters, creative ways to display them (I've seen the clay holders you make).
I just re-watched your video using the crumpled tin foil. How about stamping on image on the foil or using a rubber stamp to impress an image? I could almost see a rose in one of the coasters you made.

  17. What type of resin do you use for your glitter christmas ornaments where you use the lighter on the resin to get the bubbles out? I looked at michaels and the stuff I found said combustible. So eager to make some but dont want to blow the house uo! Thanks
