Whether making jewelry, or using these cute shamrock charms to decorate napkin rings, or use scattered across your table for St. Patrick's Day.

Here is a quickie video tutorial, so you can see how I made them:

The links below help support this channel,  as I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

You will need:

Glass stones:  http://amzn.to/2FrPMVK
Scrapbook paper:  http://amzn.to/2tjWmJe
Jewelry bails:  http://amzn.to/2texrHa

Directions:

1.  Gather your materials, including shamrock scrapbook paper and class gems.

2.  Place the gem over a shamrock and trace around it.

3.  Cut out the traced shape - on the inside of the line.

4.  Use your Mod Podge and paint it on the back of the gem.

5.  Then, place it on the shamrock you cut out.

6.  Apply Mod Podge to the back of the paper.

7.  Use your fingers to rub down the paper and get rid of bubbles.

8.  Repeat with other shamrocks.

9.  Once dry, you can add a jewelry bail and turn it into a piece of jewelry, or...

...glue it to a napkin ring!

That's it!  Hope you like it!  Remember:  Life's too short not to shimmer, so grab your glue gun and your glitter!™  Stay safe!

Directions:

1.  I mixed six ounces of resin and broke it into three cups.

2.  First I used coarse kosher salt and mixed it in with the resin.

3.  Then poured it into the coaster mold.

 4.  Then I used the Himalayan pink salt and mixed it in with the resin.

5.  Then poured it into the coaster mold.

6.  Finally, I mixed in the sidewalk salt - the kind you throw on the sidewalk in the winder, so you don't break your neck on the ice!

7.  Then I poured that into the mold.

8.  I then broke out my lighter and popped the bubbles.

9.  I let it cure a minimum of 12 hours before removing them from the mold.

Thread Coaster DIY | Resin Crafts | Another Coaster Friday | Craft Klatch

Today we are taking colorful string and/or embroidery thread, mixed with resin and turning it into coasters!

Here's a quick video tutorial, so you can see exactly how I made them:

The links below may contain affiliate links and I may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.

You will need:
Thread scraps: https://amzn.to/2LBdDBq
Embroidery floss:  https://amzn.to/2BXdysj
Resin (use whatever resin brand you like):
Clear Cast:  http://amzn.to/2z4rxGw

1.  Mix one ounce of resin, per coaster.  I started with the thread coaster.

2.  I popped the bubbles with my lighter.

3.  I pre-cut pieces of thread.

 4.  Then I started dropping them into the resin.

5.  I kept adding and pressing the thread down with my stir stick.

6.  Once they are completely covered with the resin, you can pop the bubbles with your lighter.  Be careful, if the thread is not covered, it might set on fire!

7.  Then I did the same with the embroidery floss.  I started with the one ounce of resin and pressed the embroidery floss into the resin.

 8.  I mixed two more ounces of resin and carefully poured it over each of the coasters, popped the bubbles and let it cure a minimum of 12 hours.

9.  Once cured, you can unmold them and here they are!

That's it!  I hope you like them and give them a try!  Remember:  Life's too short not to shimmer, so grab your glue gun and your glitter!™  Stay safe!
