Directions:

I found this silicone hot pad and thought it would make a great base for a resin project...of course I thought coasters!

1.  I had some leftover resin, from a different project and decided to use them for a coaster.  I was about an ounce and I had different colors of pigment powder mixed in.

2.  I poured the blue onto the silicone mat.

3.  I poured on the pink.

4.  I poured the yellow.

5.  I used my lighter to pop the bubbles and let it cure a minimum of 12 hours.

6.  I peeled it off the mat.

This is what it looks like on the shiny top!

Here is the back with pattern.

Here is the second version.

1.  I had more leftover resin - around and ounce and I have it separated into three cups.  One had a pink pigment powder mixed, one had microbeads and the third was left clear.

2.  I started with the microbeads.

3.  I poured the pink around the microbeads.

4.  I added more of the microbeads.

5.  Finally, I poured on the clear, to make sure the microbeads didn't get covered with the pink.

6.  I used my lighter to pop the bubbles and let is cure a minimum of 12 hours.

After 12 hours, I peeled it off and here is the shiny top.

Here are both coasters together, front.

Here are both coasters together, back.

That's it!  I hope you like them and give them a try!  Remember:  Life's too short not to shimmer, so grab your glue gun and your glitter!™  Stay safe!
