This is the resin I used for this project:
FX Poxy: http://amzn.to/2AF3Pkk ~ According to the manufacturer, this one is heat resistant to 500 degrees F.
Directions:
1. I found bugs some flat-ish fake bugs. Because they are flat, they will keep the coaster from being too big.
2. I trimmed the bugs, to fit into the coaster.
3. I mixed two ounces of resin and poured them into the mold.
4. I began adding the bugs.
5. I moved the bugs around and used my stir stick to drip the resin over the bugs.
6. I popped the bubbles with my lighter.
7. I mixed enough resin to cover the bugs. Depending on your bugs, it might be two to three ounces.
8. I popped the bubbles with my lighter and let the resin cure.
9. Once cured, I removed the coasters from the mold.
That's it! Now you have some fun and creepy bug coasters!
